The achievements and success of Jack Haig is extremely impressive. Listen to what he’s done & his training with Fenz (Mark Fenner).
FTP training and Mark have been more than a training/coaching service for me. FTP training has been able to take me from being someone that was riding at an ok level as a first year U23 Mountain biker to now being National U23 Mountain bike champion, getting medals in both road and Mountain bikes at a National and Oceania level and leading the National Road series after 4 rounds. Both of us have been able to achieve this because of the research and cutting edge knowledge that Mark puts into his coaching programs as well as his ability to tailor a program to different people with different personalities. Knowledge that Mark has with training with power and training peaks has help me set goals and plan my season around my goals.

Aaron Donnely talks about his training with Mark Fenner & FTP Training.
The training program you provided has taken me from a pretty low level to enjoying my racing again. Not to mention the HUGE improvement in form.
I’ve learnt heaps about fitness, determination, consistency and dedication from your programs and from you. I can’t thank you enough and have no hesitation recommending you to anyone interested in improving themselves.
As a medical practitioner I’ve come to appreciate Fenz’s passion for staying at the forefront of sports science knowledge. His unique ability is to integrate this knowledge with his extensive coaching and competing experience to create highly effective training programs.
I’ve been training with Fenz for three years now and during that time his innovative approach has helped me to not only overcome a number of training obstacles but also achieve more in endurance mountain bike racing than I ever would have thought possible.
Jack Beckinsale talks about his story and involvement with FTP Training.
Angus has been my personal coach since the middle of 2015, after a great recommendation from my ex-manager and colleague in Rapha Asia. Even though the FTP Training program is conducted via the Training Peaks platform, and us being based in different parts of the world (me in Singapore, and Angus in Australia), he makes it a point to communicate with me frequently either via email or Skype to check on my wellbeing and if the training program that he has mapped out for me was effective.
My busy work schedule meant that there are times that I needed to reschedule or reorganise my training sessions, and Angus have always been very helpful and quick in assisting to adjust and fine-tune each session to accommodate me. Angus is also a great motivator, encouraging me to participate in local races or overseas events, to keep pushing my limits higher. Along the way, he has helped me to become not just a stronger rider, but also in how I can maximise my rides more efficiently to aid in my training. In a simple sentence, he has taught me to get rid of junk miles.
I look forward to continuing my partnership with Angus. If you’re looking for a coach to help you to become a better and stronger rider, I highly recommend him.
I worked with Hamish for a period of 3 months in preparation for a cycling trip to the Spanish Pyrenees. Training started with a targeted VO2 max and Lactate Threshold test to determine my current fitness levels. He then implemented a power based training program integrating indoor sessions on the wahoo kickr as well as outdoor individual and group rides. I improved my FTP power output from 268 to 299 watts and I was able to complete over 780 km with 13 000 m gained in a 7 day period. Over the 3 month period I learned how to train smarter, work harder and ride faster.
As I was travelling for work 2-3 days a week, Hamish was able to structure a programme that made the most of time that I was able to actually train to achieve race goals. Also based on training data and feedback during training, Hamish was able to put together a race plan that worked perfectly on race day.
I really enjoyed Sarah’s training program for my 110km Gran Fondo event in the Clare Valley, South Australia this year. Training Peaks software was easy to use, and Sarah’s program was very achievable within a busy full-time work week. The flexibility and customised plan really added to the enjoyment as I felt confident I could sustain the training demands right through the 4 months or so leading into the event. The increase in strength and fitness was really noticeable and I was amazed that it could happen with such enjoyable training sessions. The event itself was particularly challenging with extreme heat and strong head winds but despite wanting to give up many times during the event, I was physically able to finish it. It was a great sense of achievement. Apart from a touch of sunstroke that evening and general tiredness the following day, I had no muscle soreness at all-a huge testimonial to the training program Sarah had given me. Sarah was always warm, engaged and very knowledgeable in all our communications.

I approached Mark at FTP Training in the middle of a race season where I required a coach I could trust to assume my training and racing schedule immediately. His insight and skill as a coach became very evident to me as our initial consultation immediately became a seamless and empathic relationship. Within 3 weeks of establishing this association with FTP Training, I achieved my season goal.
Coming from Mountain Biking, Tupac has achieved some awesome results. Watch what Mark has to say about FTP Training & Mark Fenner.
Over the time mark fenner has been my coach, which has been the entire length of my competitive mountain bike racing career (2008-current), he has acted and presented himself as a role model for myself and everyone associated with him and in the mountain bike community in general. His dedication to his coaching and his own training commitments and achievements assist in the development of the determination and enthusiasm he embodies in his athletes and me

National Champion Chris Hamilton tells us how it is with FTP Training and Fenz (Mark Fenner).
“Mark joined our masters training camp for dinner and a ride the next morning. All the riders said Mark’s input and engaging style was a highlight of the camp. We had a great chat over dinner, ranging from the physiological science of performance and training, to stories from the pros and sharing ride anecdotes. The conversation flowed freely and Mark showed a great understanding of the interests of our group of club racers, and ability to explain sophisticated concepts and answer our questions in understandable ways. The next morning he showed us around some of the beautiful local roads and climbs, again sharing generously and with wonderful insight from his experiences in the UK and Australia. Thank you Mark for making our trip to the south coast extra special!”
